Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Easen, operated by Nodas Ventures LLC (“we”, “us”, “Easen”). By accessing or using Easen, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Easen, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Easen.

If you are using Easen on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Description of service

Easen is an AI-powered meeting communication assistant. It provides real-time response suggestions during meetings, automatic meeting summaries, and a searchable memory of your professional context.

Easen is available as a web application at easen.ai, a macOS desktop application, and a Chrome browser extension.

3. Account responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate, current information at sign-up
• One account per person — accounts may not be shared
• Notify us immediately at info@nodasventures.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Easen to:

• Record participants in any meeting without their knowledge or consent, where consent is required by law
• Engage in any illegal activity
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of Easen
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated scripts or bots to abuse the free tier or bypass usage limits

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding consent to record, including two-party consent laws in jurisdictions where they apply.

5. Subscription and billing

Easen offers the following plans:

• Free trial: 7 days, full access — no credit card required
• Free tier (post-trial): 2 meetings/month, up to 75 minutes each
• Professional: $39/month, or $31/month billed annually
• Teams: custom pricing — contact sales

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We do not offer refunds for partial months.

We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price changes.

6. Intellectual property

Easen and all related technology, software, designs, and content are owned by Nodas Ventures LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your meeting data — transcripts, memory, decisions, documents you upload — remains your property.

By using Easen, you grant us a limited, revocable license to process your data solely to provide the service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use your content to train AI models.

7. Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Easen, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

Easen is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or relevance of AI-generated suggestions. They are intended as decision support, not as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

You are responsible for any decisions you make based on Easen’s suggestions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Easen is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or data.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms other users or the service.

You may cancel your account at any time from Settings.

Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy retention rules.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
